Quasars utilizes institutionalized and defined processes and procedures throughout the course of each project and prepares a quality management plan for each task. Our commitment to quality has been formalized and implemented through our Quality Management System (QMS) which is based on CMMI and ISO best practices. In addition to Quasars' QMS already certified for CMMI Level 2 by the Software Engineering Institute, Quasars is currently being assessed for CMMI Level 3 and ISO 9001:2008 compliance.
We recognize that quality management encompasses the full lifecycle of our entire management approach. Our QMS is a component of our proprietary program management methodology which is based on in-depth planning, accurate forecasting, constant monitoring, and promptly addressing issues that arise during task performance.
Quasars' QA Manager reports directly to Quasars' President and, in coordination with our project managers, serves as the focal point for maintaining quality during performance reviews, assessments, and corrective action as well as finding ways to continually improve our delivery of products and services to our clients.
