Federal Aviation Administration
Quasars has supported The FAA on a variety of contracts as both a prime and sub contractor. Some examples of our recent experience in support of FAA modernization include:
- • Cost benefit analyses, life cycle cost estimation, alternative analyses, trade-off studies, risk assessments for accurate cost and schedule estimates, and operations research analyses in support of acquisition decisions and defining cost effective deployment and implementation strategies.
- • Quasars also has experience performing investment analyses within the context of planned and in-place FAA assets, capabilities and resources providing recommendations consistent with FAA's strategic and performance goals including budgetary impact and relative contribution to agency goals.
- • Quasars has provided configuration management support to the FAA since 2005. In addition to CM tasks, Quasars has developed and implemented information sharing and document management solutions to improve configuration control and change management.
- • Quasars provided business process re-engineering in support of the management and disposition ATO facilities, (buildings, towers and roads). Following implementation of new streamlined processes, facilities decommissioning cycle time was materially reduced and the customer achieved measurable cost savings. Quasars continues to provide logistics support services to the Facility Disposition PMO.
